I am creating this funding for Missy Mullins and her son Jarred Mullins.
Missy is like a sister to me, she is a nurse who works with my Mom and took wonderful care of my Grandfather as well as other family members who need her help, she has become a part of my family.
Her son Jarred, is 19 years old and was working his construction job in Lexington, KY on Oct. 15th. when a woman hit him so hard it knocked him out of his boots sending him airborne, broke both legs and his arm. He has been in the hospital since and as of today Oct. 26th has had 5 surgeries, lost muscle in his leg and may not be able to drive with that leg and has more to go.
19 years old!
Missy has not left his side and we have all pitched in money and food to her and her family.
But, she is missing a lot of work and this all will cost a lot when its all over with and I want to raise some funds for her and her son.
Anything will help them out. I will post her updates as they come out.
The story from the news can be found below and it has been confirmed from police the woman was on her phone...
The speed limit was 35 in the area, no skip marks of trying to stop and she has altered this 19 year olds life. https://www.wkyt.com/content/news/Southland-Drive-closed-after-police-say-car-hits-construction-worker-and-crane-563125451.html?fbclid=IwAR0LmP53ZmEnPs3OPaKl9rqihCCAqsyZ-yq1XN9LiWHCkxsmuAXeh829ccw
