On January 23, 2018, following a very complicated pregnancy, Julie and Ernie welcomed twin boys Aidan and Brennan to the world 10 weeks early. Throughout Julie’s pregnancy, complications were discovered early on and the loving parents decided to undergo a procedure for the boys while in-utero in an attempt to give both little boys the best fighting chance. Later, an emergency c-section was performed and Julie gave birth to Aidan Paul weighing 1lb 3oz and Brennan Michael weighing 4lbs. Following their birth, they remained in the Yale NICU for quite some time. During their stay, they both underwent multiple medical procedures to correct complications. The family was overjoyed when they were able to bring baby Brennan home in March. Brennan is thriving at home, however still requires surgery to correct a heart condition. Unfortunately, on May 4, 2018, Julie, Ernie and the rest of the family had to say goodbye to their little fighter, baby Aidan. In their time of grieving, they should not have to also worry about how they will pay for the hospital bills and other expenses as Julie has been unable to work since the boys were born. As many of you know, Julie and Ernie are two of the most caring and selfless people. Their friends wanted to create this fund as a way for all of us to give back to them and lessen their financial burden. We thank you for all of the outpouring of love, support and generosity.
