The Motivity Dance Collective presents "Expand"

The Motivity Dance Collective is a movement incubator that exists to inspire creative collaborations and unique performance possibilities.  As trained dancers we strive to communicate global, environmental and social topics through an array of aerial arts and dance techniques. We are impassioned by art, literature, poetry, music, and nature. We are drawn to utilizing props, inspiring music and spoken word in our movement investigations to enhance the storytelling of our shared human experience. Our choreography displays a spectrum of contexts and moods ranging from light-hearted, to abstract, to expressive. We are fascinated by the many moving parts it takes to make a creative work speak on a deeper level, and motivated to find innovative ways to impart this connection with our audience. This year we will present our second show "Expand" at the Kachemak Bay Shellfish Growers outside venue on Sunday May 15th. There will be a 3:30pm matinee 3:30 and 5:30 pm evening show. Please help us fund raise for renting chairs, equipment and space, and for administration, advertising and paying the dancers. There will be live music from Sue and Brad and English John, and a special surprise cameo from Dave Aplin and Jill Berryman. Guest dancers will include Brittany, Bobbye, Bridget and the Monday collective. Tickets are cash only at the door. Thank you for your support.
