<div>At a young age, I was diagnosed with PCOS, and immediately put on birth control to control the symptoms that I was having. After years of this everything seemed fine. Chandler and I got engaged on December 11, 2019, and happily married on June 11, 2022! We were over the moon excited for this new chapter, and immediately started trying to expand our family, as we knew we wanted to add a little one right away.

<div>After 8 months of trying, February 15, 2023, I woke up in the middle of the night in SO much pain, we immediately went to the ER. After 6 grueling hours of pain and no medication working, Dr's finally decided to do exploratory surgery, and when they got in they found my right ovary just black, due to torsion (twisting) and losing blood supply. They were unable to save my right ovary, and removed it. They were also able to pop the cysts I had on the left side.

<div>After lots of recovery, and waiting a few more months, we decided it was time to see a fertility specialist. This came with lots of prayer, and driven with some fear of the future, as we had no idea what our future fertility looked at. We went to RBA, and found a few issues. We found out I had persistant PCOS still as well as Male Factor Infertility (MFI). We did an IUI in April 2024, but it was unsuccessful.

<div>After this we decided to save up more money, and take a much needed break from Dr's appointments. In the beginning of 2025, we decided that we were going to switch clinics after much consideration to SGF. After seeing this provider, we felt like God placed this provider in our hands for a reason. After all the work ups, multiple Dr's appointments, Chandler was put on medication for his MFI, and after 9 months his numbers were drastically up!!

<div>This was amazing news and felt comfortable continuing with treatment since concieving naturally was still not occuring. In October 2025, we started a Medicated Timed Intercourse (MTI) Cycle, and we were so optimistic because every story I have heard, it all works on the first try! It sadly did not work out, but we were given the opportunity to continue immediately into another cycle in November with stronger doses of medication this round to see if my body would respond to the medication better.

<div>It was working, we had 3 follicles ready to go, and we did the trigger shot like we were supposed to, and everything was going to plan perfectly. We were very optimistic about this cycle working more than we had before. I woke up on Saturday, November 22, 2025, just a few days before Thanksgiving, in a lot of pain again. This familiar pain to the emergency surgery I had in 2023. After 5 minutes of waiting to see if it would reside, we packed up the car, and headed straight to the ER. After lots of medicine, and nothing working, Dr's quickly decided another emergency laproscopy was the way to go. In less than 30 minutes, I was put under, and thankfully, they were able to save my only last ovary.

<div>It was twisting on itself again, and I had a 8cm cyst on my only ovary causing it to be unbalanced and twisting, losing blood supply again. This time, we had great news that my ovary was saved, but that was the only good news I recieved. They found endometrioma's and endometriosis, new diagnoses for me, and one that I hoped to never be diagnosed with in my life. It was crushing. After a rough recovery, I had my follow up appointment with the fertility clinic, and got the worse news I think I could get (to me).

<div>We were told that the only route we could go is IVF. And as much as I love my job, their insurance do not cover a dime of it. It makes sense, because I have one ovary, to preserve my future fertility as much as possible, and if we did another TI or IUI cycle, the ovary would continue to grow cysts even after ovulation, which we would not want, as it could cause twisting of my only ovary (since I am prone to it). IVF is the route to go for my situation because during the egg retrieval, they would pop the cysts, and would not continue to grow.

<div>Its just hard to want to start your family so badly, and I feel God telling me that He will make a way, I will have all the desires of my heart, but I also believe that if God truly meant for us to go down this road, that He will open the flood gates and help us make that happen. If anyone knows Chandler and I, they will know how badly we have wanted to start our family for so long now. 

</div>

<div>We qualified for the Shared Risk program meaning for $30,000, we can get:
