The Mighty joni

Hello, my name is Phyllis, and the picture above is my grandson joni. In May 2020, joni began to complain about abdominal injuries. We thought he only needed Winnie the Pooh. So all of us are working hard to make sure that he is going. Joni is a bit constipated, but this is just the beginning. He started complaining about leg injuries and abdominal injuries. Phyllis took him to the doctor, and they found nothing. The days passed and Joni was still in distress and did not sleep. Phyllis took him back to the doctor and was recommended to UAB Children's Hospital. Joni not only has pain in the abdomen and legs, but also cannot walk. Therefore, joni started the test and found a mass on the left adrenal gland and kidney. UAB performed a biopsy and bone marrow examination and inserted a port. They were pretty sure it was a neuroblastoma.

In July 2020, he was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma, a rare form of childhood cancer. Joni's parents are treating him with holistic alternative care. The overall treatment is not covered by insurance; therefore, his treatment costs are increasing rapidly and we are talking about thousands of dollars. I want to start this page to try to reduce the financial burden on joni's parents. If you are forced to make your own contribution, we will be grateful, all the money will be used for joni's care and treatment. We ask that you continue to pray and share this page with others at any time. Thank you.
