Husband, Father, Son, Uncle, Brother to many, Youth pastor, most importantly a child of God! Angel Mercado was in a horrible accident on Friday, May 19, 2017. He was in stop and go traffic in Atlanta on I-285 when he was struck by another driver from behind. Due to the extent of the injuries from the accident Angel is currently in ICU fighting for his life. He has touched the world and been a hero to so many. He can put a smile on your face even when you don't feel like smiling. He loves you when you feel like no one does; and so full of positive energy everywhere he goes. The Mercado family and all that are tied to them are very devout Christians and have faith in a miracle and that God's will: will be done. Our efforts here will allow the Mercado family to focus on Angel's Miracle and road to recovery.
Coming from family and friends we are very appreciative of all the help and support from the first person on scene, first responders, medical staff from Northside and Grady, and all of those across the country who are praying for him right now. To those also who have helped the family thus far.
However with that said his wife Courtney and his two little girls Bailee (6) and Skilar (2) will have very many unforeseen and unexpected expenses coming up! So many of you are asking how you can help well here is one way. We would like to provide as much support as possible, and helping with medical, travel, family travel, child care, errands, laundry, cleaning, and all the little things that will collectively make a difference. With that said 100% of the personal gifts/ proceeds will go to The Mercado family. To help them get through this time; while they allow God to do his work!
