The Mendez Family Covid Fund

My wife and I have a close friend who's family is struggling due to Covid.  Our friend who tested positive is in the ER with chest pain as we write this.  Covid  has left their family unable to run their small business, unable to work due to statewide attempts to curve Covid hospitalizations and personal illnesses due to Covid throughout their family.    Lupe and her husband Victor are some of the hardest working people we know and just cannot catch a break.  Lupe was excited to work the month of December at Summit House, she saw it as a opportunity to get through the next couple months.  They also have 3 kids.  Unfortunately they have been unable to collect unemployment this entire year.    The funds will be used to provide basic needs for the family (rent, insurance, medical expenses, food, medicines, etc).  If there are locals that would like to make meals for the family or donate Christmas presents for their sons that would be appreciated as well.  Their sons are 16, 12 and 7.  Any amount will help.  Please help us change our goal amount.
