The Meat Hook Food Relief

Donation protected
We are raising money to help our NYC neighbors facing food insecurity. Our goal is to provide a minimum of 50 grocery boxes a week to food-insecure families in the Bronx. Each box contains enough groceries to feed a family of four for two days. Each box costs $15.

This month, we have partnered with La Morada, a family-owned and operated Oaxaca Restaurant in the South Bronx. They are currently providing [phone redacted] hot meals a day to people who are facing food insecurity during Covid-19, and have been doing so over the last 5 months. They expect to provide even more aid as unemployment assistance is scheduled to end next week and a second wave of covid is predicted.

They have agreed to help us distribute our grocery boxes to families in their area, and we will also be donating excess product to their kitchen so that they can serve even more people hot meals.

Your contribution goes directly to feeding our neighbors beyond Williamsburg and Greenpoint.
