The McCann story

In February 2021, Dawn’s husband Michael was diagnosed with advanced colon cancer. In recent months it has spread to his liver and possibly to his lungs. Unfortunately the cancer was not responding to treatment and the decision was made for all treatment to be stopped to prevent Michael from feeling too unwell.

Regrettably, Dawn and her family have made the difficult decision to move Michael to St Benedict's hospice following another infection resulting in him becoming severely poorly.
