The Mayor of Knutsford's 24 Hour Cycle Challenge

Donation protected
UPDATE: Due to some staffing changes at the gym, we have decided to delay the event for a few weeks to ensure the safety of the challenge.
Revised details are below:
The Mayor of Knutsford is challenging himself to a 24-hour Cycle Challenge to raise funds for Knutsford Scouts and the UK Men's Sheds Association.
The challenge will take place over the 2nd & 3rd December 2022 at Anytime Fitness in Canute Place, Knutsford (next to Majestic Wine), starting at 3pm on Friday, 2nd December. The challenge will allow a modest 10-minute comfort break every 4 hours - so the Mayor will cycle for 24 hours in a 25-hour period.
Anybody who wishes to cycle with The Mayor for an hour can join him on the 'buddy bike' to cheer him on, motivate or just sit and talk at him if he's particularly breathless!
To book your slot on the buddy bike, just contact the Mayor or Michelle Bate via the Knutsford Town Council website.
The final hour, at 3pm on Saturday 3rd December, will be a spin class at the gym.
The target is to raise £2,400: £100 for every hour cycled. All the funds raised will go directly to The Mayor's charities.
Any donation will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.
