The Marcy Family Twin Fund!
The twins are here (but a little early to the party)!
As you all know (or may not know), Arthur Lee and Ellis William Marcy were born on December 29th at just 24 weeks! These little guys are only about 1.5lbs each, and a little early! Proud Mom (Mattie), Dad (Nate) and big brother (Rhett) are thrilled, and being the strong family we knew they would be.

How are they?
Because Arthur and Ellis crashed the party so early, they're having to be pretty tough fighting to be strong babies ready for the world. They're currently in NICU at U of M, and will be for a good bit more. Both have endured blood transfusions, countless poking and prodding, and other necessary treatments from the amazing staff at U of M while they finish baking outside of the oven. They're incredible fighters!
What are we asking?
We know the amazing people Mattie and Nate are. They're wonderful parents, loyal friends, and have been brave throughout this time. We want to take some of the burden off of they and Rhett's shoulders so they can just focus on getting Arthur and Ellis healthy, happy, and HOME.
Having twins in NICU–about 30 miles from home–means Mom and Dad have to make frequent trips to and from Ann Arbor, as well as pay for child care for Rhett (who would normally be home with Mom). Aside from having to eat when and where they can, gassing up, and the time taken away from work, they will also have plenty of doctor visits and health costs to cover.
We all know how much a little bit from a lot of people can do. It would mean the world to us if you could donate! And although they didn't ask for this Go Fund Me, I know it will help remove just a little bit of stress and concern. We could all use that from time to time!
