'Help Build Another Lyons Den'

On New Years Day at approximately 11pm, Nicole Lyon, her 3 children, small dog and cat escaped a devastating house fire. They are now displaced and are looking for comfortable housing for their family and their two pets. Unfortunately 2 of their beloved cats perished in the fire. Almost everything has been damaged and they will need to replace most items. Financial needs are immediate. Funds will be allocated to the following areas: Housing (temporary then long term) Appliances Furniture Small wares Bedding/linens Clothing/footwear Personal amenities Pet supplies Sports gear Entertainment items Nicole and her family want to thank The Banff Fire Department and the Banff EMS team for their dedication and efforts made to save the house and their contents inside. A special thank you for the efforts made to save the pets, and for the extra love and care given to the cats who perished. Nicole and her family are so grateful and overwhelmed with the sensitivity, kindness and support that the Bow Valley has already shown.
