<div>Many of you have contacted us asking how you can provide support. We do not want money but many of you have said, you want to contribute to something. Over the last few days. Tim, Cecilia, Vincent, and Kathleen have been talking about finding ways to keep Lucy's memory alive through service to others. We explored existing charities and while there are many incredible options, we decided to establish The Lucy Marie Velner Foundation. The Foundation mission will be focused on increasing awareness of mental health in young adults and supporting parents. We will create a formal 501c3 shortly but did not have time prior to the obituary publishing. We specifically asked Go Fund Me to turn off the goal and turn off the automated recommended giving amount function they cannot be adjusted. Please know, we are only setting this up because people have asked us to. We will keep you aware of how we develop the Foundation mission as we serve others in Lucy's memory.
