The Lucky Gorillas for the AFB

Tax deductible

THE MISSION OF THE AMERICAN FOUNDATION FOR THE BLIND IS TO CREATE A WORLD OF NO LIMITS FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE BLIND OR VISUALLY IMPAIRED. THEY MOBILIZE LEADERS, ADVANCE UNDERSTANDING, AND CHAMPION IMPACTFUL POLICIES AND PRACTICES USING RESEARCH AND DATA.

THROUGH THEIR EDUCATION, THEIR ADVOCACY AND THEIR DESIRE TO CHANGE THE NARRATIVE.

What if?

What if you grew up being told you could be anyone you wanted to be?

What if you grew up being told you could do anything you wanted to do?

What if you then found out none of that was true because you are blind?

More than 70% of the blind population are unemployed.

Home ownership of the blind is 1/10th of the average population.

We cannot allow this to continue.

Fundraising has been hugely hit by COVID and impacted a lot of great organizations.

WHO ARE WE?

The Lucky Gorillas - a band of beautiful, heart-centered people looking to make the world a better place - is on a mission to raise money to support an amazing organization - the American Foundation for the Blind in their mission.

The mission of the American Foundation for the Blind is to create a world of no limits for people who are blind or visually impaired. They mobilize leaders, advance understanding, and champion impactful policies and practices using research and data.

OUR GOAL

Our goal is to raise $330,000 to support the AFB in funding a film around the life of AFB's ambassador, Helen Keller, and to commemorate the 100 year anniversary of the AFB.  We are told that some of these contributions will be matched by the owner of the Cleveland Cavaliers. We will then aim to syndicate this film to Netflix or Amazon Prime.
----
We are also working on a collaboration to provide special one of a kind customized hats from Black Clover as a token of appreciation for your donations.
They will be totally unique for this event and will be a limited edition NEVER to appear again. They will feature Black Clover's signature phrase "LIVE LUCKY" in braille to honor the experience of the AFB.

It is our goal to create three options:

1. $250 for the standard, one-of-a-kind cap -- Only 950 hats will be made and available.
2. $1,000 for a customized cap with Swarovski Crystals -- Only 50 hats will be available.
3. $50,000 for the Ultimate customized hat. This will be customized by an artist and include an absolutely ridiculous surprise feature that will be a one of a kind collector item!

NOTE: THESE HATS WILL NOT BE IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE. WE ARE WORKING TO FINALIZE THIS PLAN PRESENTLY.

If you donate in multiples to get numerous hats so you can share with your team and friends and family, we will work with you to coordinate you getting the numbers of hats up to the value of your donation.

They will not be offered again!

-----

Let's support the AFB by spreading awareness, merging ecosystems, and, importantly, providing generous contributions to support them in a time when they need us the most!

It's GO TIME!!!

Be the change you want to see in the world!

Our critical time path is to raise the money by  Wednesday, March 24.
