The (Long) Road
My name is Bryan Davis.
I have Cancer, or it has me.
On the social media I have been known as
@AskBryan,
& known via a podcast titled Doc Fermento Discovers The World.
Critically- I am a father of three, sharing custody with my ex, quite peaceably.
I am fundraising for myself, in support of my family.
In 2020 I fell ill and was transported from my local Cleveland Clinic ER to their main campus in Cleveland, OH.
(The following was captured in the past, the Updates contain the continuum)
I have been staying in the Leukemia unit for 3 days while they investigate what has happened to me. I am being moved to the Lymphoma Unit as they narrow this down. My tests thus far have surprised the staff, they no longer think I have what they initially expected. Today’s invasive procedures should provide clarity, and a treatment path for this cancer, which the staff have not yet identified.
With luck, much of my
medical costs may be taken care of by Medicaid and or my own insurance carrier. Medical billing is a known unknown.
Most imperatively- there is this immediate monetary effect upon my living life. As a self employed residential remodel contractor I have a feeling I will be wholly out of commission for quite some time to come. I have projects ongoing that will remain unfinished (for now) and new estimates and leads that I know not what to do with at this time. I do have a plan in place to complete my current projects- my family will kick in and complete this work for me. If only, to maintain my reputation. It will be a burden for them, as their work days are overfilled already.
I am asking that those that loved me in the past, please help me reach the future- with Housing, and the lovely minimal amenities. What I’m saying is I need to pay these bills, and suddenly I realize- the rent is too damn high.
