<div>On Wednesday 7th February 2024, Donna’s and Sean’s lives changed very suddenly and dramatically when Niamh suffered a blood clot on the brain, causing a stroke which has resulted in her losing her ability to speak and unable to move her right side of her body. Niamh’s recovery is going to be long and it will likely be months before she is able to return home. Niamh is currently in Southampton hospital and slowly regaining movement and speech.

<div>I’ve set up this go fund me to raise funds for the family to help with on going costs of travel back and forth from the hospital, food and anything that can keep Niamh busy in hospital and help with her rehabilitation.

<div>Niamh is continuing to astound us all with the progress she is making and her sheer determination. She has mastered transitioning to a wheelchair this week and that taste of freedom has made such a difference (first stop: the hospital Costa for a frappe ). Her speech is improving daily, she’s remembering more and more and most importantly her smile is as big and beautiful as ever!
