The Little Ted Foundation

The Little Ted Foundation was set up following the loss of our beautiful baby boy, Ted, to cancer. He was diagnosed at just 8 months old, and despite enduring 11 cycles of chemotherapy and a huge, 11 hour surgery at Great Ormond Street Hospital, we were told that the cancer had spread to his brain and spinal cord on 25th March 2022. Ted passed away just 15 days later on 9th April 2022, aged just 16 months. He had been fighting cancer for half of his short life.

We had been raising money for Ted to have a pioneering treatment in the Netherlands, but we never made it there so we decided to use that money to fund The Little Ted Foundation and help other families like ours.

Our aim is to provide peaceful, tranquil getaways in Snowdonia, Wales, along with financial support for families with seriously ill children or bereaved families following the loss of a child. We know that this is something that will give us comfort in the coming weeks and months, and hope to be able to offer this comfort to families like ours.
