The Life of Spice TV pilot

"The Life of Spice" - Many of you have read the Spice Journal that I regularly write. I always thought what a great TV show they would make, and could not believe no one had done anything like it yet. I've pitched it to people over the years, but nothing ever happened. That is, until I was in the Congo over the summer and met a film producer  from New Delhi. I pitched - and she loved the idea! She has offered to film my pilot episode - black pepper - in India in a couple of weeks. At her cost, no profit fer her in it, she just believes in my idea. The amount I need is to cover the production costs, and our travel to do the shoot. I've been advised by some celebrity types that the important thing was to do the filming - then post the video on youtube and see what happens! I have some connections who have promised to share the video with everyone they know in the industry as well.

I will need the funds before I leave on 4 January to cover our costs as we travel.

I never wanted to be a film star - but I do believe that such a show about spices - where they come from, how they grow, are harvested, and processed, myths and legends surrounding them, their history, their culinary uses, and medicine and nutrition related to them - is a no-brainer and sure to be a hit with today's viewers! Each episode would showcase a different spice, shot in it's country of origin.
