We started this GoFundMe because the impact of the accident has long-term financial repercussions for our family. Jesse's work as a hauler provides the family income to support our housing, groceries, schooling, and day-to-day living expenses for the family.

Due to the mental and physical trauma associated with the accident, Jesse is not able to continue working at this time which has put our livelihood in grave danger and shaken our stability as a family.

The loss of equipment that can not be replaced for 6 months or longer has put a full stop to Jesse's ability to earn an income, let alone the trauma and physical challenges he is having to overcome. Being a unique business we are experiencing some difficulty with the loss of income compensation from ICBC and other providers.

We are graciously asking for the support of the community to help us survive the winter months while Jesse recovers. This is not an easy ask, but a necessary one.

This tragic accident has changed everyone involved and we are mindful that our struggles come in a different form from those of the crash victims' friends and family, however in order to continue we recognize we need to humbly ask for support. We are thankful to everyone who has reached out during this challenging time.
