I am SO happy to announce that I’m going to be running “The Big Half Marathon” on the 7th of September 2025 in aid of The Leah Wilby Foundation.

A little bit about The Leah Wilby foundation.. Leah was tragically diagnosed with cancer, only aged 8. She fought and fought for 7 years, until sadly passed away aged 15. Despite of the family’s heartbreak and suffering, Leah’s family set up this charity in aid to help families who are going through what their family did. Leah continues to live on not only through her family, but the families she’s still helping to this day.

The Leah Wilby Foundation provides holiday accommodation in their 6 berth static caravan at Haven Seashore Great Yarmouth for families who are supporting young people who live in the UK and are suffering from childhood cancer. The caravan is available free of charge for any child and their family who are being treated by a paediatric oncologist in the UK.

Alice, my fiancée is so lucky to work with Leah’s Mum, who she calls a very good friend. I’m in total awe of the Wilby family, their strength is admirable, and what they do for other families that are so sadly suffering is indescribable. They really are one of a kind.
