The Lauren Spence Memorial Fund
Donation protected
A fund to honour the life and passions of Lauren Spence.
It is with great sadness that we start this fund in order to support the Spence family following the loss of their daughter, Lauren Spence. Lauren passed away at the age of 16 in a car accident on June 9, 2017.
Lauren was an amazing leader and roll model to everyone around her. She brought laughter and love with her everywhere she went and had a smile that could light up a room. Lauren’s friends describe her as one of the most selfless, caring and genuine girls to be around. Lauren will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.
This fund will primarily establish a fund to honour Lauren’s memory by creating awards, scholarships and memorial donations in her name. The fund will also cover some expenses pertaining to the accident, if necessary.
A celebration of Lauren's life will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 2:00pm. The service will be held at Third Avenue United Church, 304 - 3rd Avenue North. The family asks that everyone who attends wear plaid, purple or other colours.
