I’m going to be doing the Lanrick Challenge this August, it’s a 6k obstacle course, and looking to get sponsorship for the charity it’s has been organised for. I have to try raise a minimum amount. If you know me well enough you’ll know this will kill me.

With support from the Royal Marines from 45 Commando, an exhilarating 6k and 12k course has built on Lanrick Estate offering an exciting yet punishing series of 48 obstacles including mud ponds, log piles, cargo nets, river crossings, tree climbs, monkey bars and a 30 meter water slide. Designed to include as much of the natural landscape as possible the undulating terrain and natural beauty of the estate makes this event different to others. Although challenging it’s not as extreme or frightening as the Tough Mudder - there’s no electrocutions or ice baths!! The Lanrick Challenge is all about challenging yourself without being terrified – you will possibly get a bit muddy, wet and tired but we also hope you have a laugh with your friends and colleagues.
In 2019 the Challenge is proud to support the Sandpiper Trust and Scotland's Charity Air Ambulance. Supporting these two charities means connecting with local Scottish communities and being part of an on-going commitment to saving lives and delivering emergency medical care by air and over land in Scotland.
