The Kwame Nkrumah Fellowship for African Organizers, launched by the Coalition for the Elimination of Imperialism in Africa (CEIA), is a transformative initiative designed to empower and sustain dedicated organizers committed to the liberation of Africa.
This $5000 (USD) fellowship is designed to empower and sustain dedicated individuals in Africa working towards justice and equity. Named after Kwame Nkrumah, a visionary leader in African independence movements, the fellowship honors his legacy by investing in those committed to his vision of freedom and self-determination.
The Kwame Nkrumah Fellowship provides critical financial support to one African organizer each year, enabling them to focus fully on their mission. Whether it's launching a self-sustaining project, developing community-based initiatives, or advancing education and awareness on critical issues ranging from climate to gender equality, this fellowship will be transformative for the recipient by providing access to resources to empower them.
As a revolutionary Pan-Africanist organization, we stand firmly against imperialism and colonialism, championing the struggle for African sovereignty and unity. We recognize that supporting organizers working in critical areas—who are striving to awaken consciousness, promote self-reliance, and build movements—is a strategic imperative. The Nkrumah Fellowship is not only a financial investment but a declaration of solidarity with those who dedicate their lives to Africa's liberation. By investing in the leaders of today, we aim to strengthen the foundation of a liberated, prosperous Africa for generations to come.
We are counting on all justice loving people to contribute to this fund and to share it with their friends, comrades and community members.
