The Kris Landers Foundation

Donation protected
Oldham County lost a treasured member of our community this year.  Kris Landers was a ‘92 graduate of Oldham County High School and a longtime supporter of OCHS athletics.  Kris lost his battle with cancer on August 17, 2020.  His life and legacy have been honored throughout the 2020 football season as he was an integral part of the athletic community for over 30 years.  In order to continue Kris’ legacy beyond this year, the Oldham County High School athletic department is working with past and present leaders in the community to create a fund that can be used to preserve those qualities that made him remarkable.  The goals of the committee are to rename the football stadium for Kris, which will include a makeover of the main entrance to Bell field.  The second goal is to create an endowment fund in Kris’ name to allow for the awarding of an annual scholarship to a worthy student from OCHS to aid in the cost of post secondary education.
