The Kirby Family

As many of you know, Cheryl's water broke at 23 weeks 4 days, and she is currently on bedrest at Victoria General. The goal is to keep baby in as long as possible, with mommy and baby remeaining healthy. So far so good, and baby is now 25 weeks 6 days and weighing in at just under 2 lbs. 

This new journey has caused the Kirby family to need some financial support from friends and family. As of now, the unforseen expenses are as follows: Cheryl was forced to leave work a couple weeks earlier than expected, they have canceled plans for having students stay in their home, and they are trying to get Van back into daycare (as Cheryl won't be home to care for him while Brett is at work). Brett also has the added expences of traveling back and forth to Victoria.   
Once baby arrives, expenses will change again. Baby will have to stay in Victoria until 32 weeks (and then, if doing well, can be transfered to Nanaimo). New expenses will include: Brett will need to take extra time off work, and the family will need to find a place to stay in Victoria while the baby is in the NICU, (Cheryl can possibly stay at the Jeneece Place if there's room, but not Brett and Van).

We are planning this account for right now, and will change the financial need when the time comes.
