Celebrate the life of Kelsey Ross

Tax deductible

Help my family and I celebrate my sister's life by making a donation to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in her name.

Kelsey Ross had the biggest heart of anyone we knew.  She loved every animal she ever saw and had been known to bring home anything from lizards to rats to guinea pigs.  She always said that she just "felt too much."  When she started reading about borderline personality disorder, she knew she'd found the missing piece of the puzzle after a lifetime of treating only depression and anxiety, the symptoms of BPD.

People with BPD have difficulty regulating their emotions, which causes intense negative experiences and contributes to the extremely high suicide rate of up to 10%.  It is a relentless illness, and my sister lost her battle on 5/31/20.  And while her suffering is over, we are crushed at the loss of our family member.

We want to continue the fight for my sister and support the AFSP in their research efforts and education around mental health and suicide prevention.  It is difficult to tell her story but we want to be transparent and open in hopes that we can help at least one other person in her honor.

Please consider donating in her name and more importantly, sharing.  And thank you so much for the amazing love and support we've already been shown.
