The Kellys' Help Fund

Mahalo for taking the time to visit this fundraiser for Mr. and Mrs. Kelly (Kelly and Kelleen Sanders). They are truly meant to be with one another and are each other's shining light. The Kellys' are amazing, loving, heartful, generous, and kind friends of both the Waimea and Honoka'a communities. And they are in need of our help. On Christmas Eve, Mrs. Kelly suffered a series of heart attacks and was flown to Oahu to undergo emergency heart surgery. She has been unresponsive throughout the week after, but, as Mr. Kelly says, By the Grace of God, she is responsive as of this morning (Dec. 30th) and is still with Us. We are ALL incredibly thankful she is still with us and pray that her strong, beautiful, and sweet spirit will continue to show strength and perserverence. However, they have a challenging time ahead of them as they begin Mrs.Kelly's journey of healing. As business owners (Fudge'N Coffee Cafe in Honoka'a) and homesteaders, they not only need help with daily expenses, Mr and Mrs. Kelly will need to remain on Oahu for medical care indefinitely. This GoFundMe will go directly to the Kellys' to help with all of the expenses that are acruing re: medicals bills, daily expenses for their stay on Oahu, and to help cover their expenses on the homefront in Waimea. 

There is a group of us friends that will be doing our best to ensure that their life here on the Big Island is covered and running smoothly so that they do not need to worry about that and can focus on healing for Mrs. Kelly. Raising money for their financial needs is one big way that their community can help them. I (Erin Brown) am not only their neighbor, but also a friend who loves them dearly. I will be responsible for getting these funds to them, organizing ways we can help, and updating their friend's and family through this GoFundMe page.
