The Kasey Aburto Leukemia fundraiser

Some of you may know that the past several months, our family has been trying to get to the bottom of a few health concerns. What many of you may not know is that we have arrived at the bottom and my youngest brother Kasey Aburto, age 28, has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of leukemia that effects his bone marrow and blood. Ultimately, besides his on-going chemotherapy treatments, he needs a bone marrow transplant. With the treatment that he is getting, he is unable to work and pay for his mortgage and other bills. His medical bills alone are $10,000 a month and will continue to increase. Thankfully, the insurance company is helping but only covering up to $6,000 a month. The doctor said that his treatment could last anywhere from 1-4 years. This money will help him out in so many ways and keep his mindset positive and focused on his treatment to beat cancer. My brother, family and myself are greatly appreciative for any donations you are able to offer. I understand if you’re unable to donate. A prayer and share will go a long way.
