UPDATE: I received news today that this is not a more minor early stage two, but it is stage three breast cancer that has spread. It is much worse than originally diagnosed, and I hope to be thrown some good news here soon instead of things seemingly getting worse and worse. I feel lucky to have caught it before it went terminal and not treatable, but at the same time feel cursed with this. Thank you so much for the continued support and love.
Those of you that know me know the shocking news I was delivered last week. I am 27 years old, a mother to two children, and I was just diagnosed with an aggressive breast cancer. I work part-time and attend nursing school, which I plan to continue through this as long as I am able.
I did not plan on starting a gofundme, but then again I knew so little about the financing for cancer treatments and care. I am looking at several tens of thousands of dollars minimum in medical expenses not covered by my insurance, and I have already started receiving bills. I did not realize how quickly this would all happen, as my first chemotherapy appointment will likely be next week. I am not sure whether I will be able to work once chemo starts, but I plan to as long as possible. I am not asking for everyone to take care of my finances, I am asking for this as a means to stay afloat over the next several months.
I do not expect anyone to give. However if you do, I am so very grateful. I put my pride aside creating this as I am very independent but at the same time I do not want my family to suffer through this impossibly expensive process. I will post updates on my progress and treatment. I am very thankful to have my boyfriend and two children at my side through this, as well as the many friends and family that have shown their support. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

The funds raised by this will go to the acquired debt of treatment - being chemotherapy, surgery, radiation, injections, medication, oncology appointments and any other fees or costs associated with my diagnosis.
