Ahoy, fellow pirates! Torchsong Entertainment is raising money for our next production, "The Jolly Riot," a pirate metal adventure written by William Thomas Berk and directed by Emilie Landmann.
WHY WE ARE RASING MONEY:
Putting on a large scale production set on the high seas about a bunch of cut throat pirates is EXPENSIVE! We have yet to find the buried treasure and I don't think most store take gold dabloons as currency anyway.
WHAT THE FUND WILL GO TOWARDS:
Costumes, props, set pieces, marketing, and upgrades to our sound equipment. During our last show we had one handheld and one headset microphone bite the dust. With a such large ensemble we would love to replace the headset and also purchase 1-2 new headsets so more singers can be heard. Each headset costs between $200-$275 dependent upon the brand.

A swashbuckling adventure that's part Pirates of the Caribbean, part Treasure Island, with a set list of metal and rock songs by popular pirate-themed bands. "The Jolly Riot" follows the coming-of-age story of Josephine Doyle and her adventures with pirate captain Red Molly on her ship, The Jolly Riot.
Featuring a live band and a colorful cast of characters, "The Jolly Riot" has everything we love about the pirate genre: rum, seas monsters, mermaids, sword fights, rum, bad pirate accents, and more rum!
