The Johnson 5 Family

Our dear friend, Jennifer Johnson, is suffering from a severe blood infection. The source of the blood infection is believed to be a bad tooth. Jennifer had some dental work done earlier this summer and began experiencing back pain in mid-June. She was treated for her back pain, without relief. After several weeks, and 5 trips to the doctor, an MRI was ordered. The MRI discovered the very serious infection and the fact that it was in her blood and was in her back and her heart. The infection in her heart destroyed a main valve. Jennifer was immediately flown to Fairview U of M for a life-saving heart valve replacement. The surgery went well, but she has a very long recovery ahead of her, with several secondary issues due to the blood infection.


Jennifer was married to Brian Johnson in 2009 and they adopted 3 beautiful children in September, 2016. They became “The Johnson 5”. The children are staying with family near the twin cities, while Jennifer continues to fight the blood infection and recover from the heart valve replacement surgery. Brian is staying with Jennifer and is unable to work while she is in the hospital. Jennifer is expected to be in the hospital for several weeks. They would like to go home together, as The Johnson 5.
