John Moorehouse (51), beloved husband and father to five children, suddenly died of a heart attack on the night of December 5th. John lived a magnificent Catholic faith, filled with zeal and passion, wit and wisdom. His affection for his children was palpable every time he spoke of them. His affection for his wife was the ideal for every man. John lived out his vocation with loving service and faithful dedication.
John made a name for himself as the Founder of Catholic Men’s Quarterly. Through this mission he educated and entertained countless men. For the last number of years, John became Editor of the Catholic publisher, TAN Books. His personal and professional vision was able to perfectly merge into one: help souls increase their love for Jesus Christ and Holy Mother Church. “The best editor I ever worked with” was a common word of praise for John - but this was in reference to his charm and patience and subtle ability to speak truth in charity.
