The Huffman Family

Happy Holidays Friends and Family! As many of you know our Paula Huffman has been extremely sick for the majority of this year. We all celebrated when she got the OK for a new Cystic Fibrosis treatment at the beginning of the year. We all hoped this would be the answer to a lot of her breathing troubles. Unfortunately it became a nightmare of disastrous side effects. She has been in the hospital (this time) for a month because her Liver was completely destroyed, leaving a transplant as her only survival option. The day after Stewart was told she had been finally cleared of all the criteria and was on the transplant list they had to suspend her eligibility due to failing kidneys and onset pneumonia. But God is good and prayers work! Last Friday at 2:30 am Stew got the call they had a liver being flown in from New York for Paula. After a 12 hour successful surgery she now has a working liver. As many of you  know they still have a long road of recovery ahead, so please keep those prayers coming!! Stewart and Addison were up in Cleveland the 1st week of her stay, and Stew has been travelling back andforth regularly, some days there and back several times. I am in Awe of the love and courage this family continually displays. Stew has no more PDOs and is the sole income for them. We've felt the love, now if you can they could use a little support.
