We are Steve and Ana! Two passionate thirty-something's with a dream to share our passion, philosophy and awakening with the world.
Our house, 'La Casa del Viento' offers space for yoga, meditation, reiki, and other holistic practices.
Our objective? Become a central hub for the local practitioners and facilitators in the Valencia region.
11 years into our dream most desires and wishes have come true after alot of hard work and effort. After helping run an eco-farm in the mountains of Valencia for the past 4 years, the universe decided to send a large house to us, suitable as a sharable space. Off-grid and perfect for creating a community way of life.
During the past year we have created a fluid community of friends, family and volunteers from all over the world and have made amazing connections. Without these people we would not be where we are today.
With the first year in the house focused on installing the necessary electric and water; and renovating the interior of the house using every cent we were able to earn, the 'pièce de résistance' was last week when we were finally able to install a glorious wooden floor into the new yoga/meditation centre - We are still in disbelief.
As we mentioned we have had many volunteers help us over the past years, and so much thanks goes to them all. The amazing photos and videos we have are due to them. As well as many features in the house. We tip our hat to you all. YOU ROCK!
Now we are aproaching the next year and plan to offer our services publicly - something that we are still in disbelief of. There are still so many things we would like to do in the house before then. Three things mainly.
1 - Paint the outside of the house. As you can see from the video the square meterage is very very large.

2 - Raise, tile, and install a new floor in the kitchen. When we arrived there was no kitchen, hot water or drainage to speak of. Steve has installed all the essentials into the house himself using the knowledge aquired over the years in hospitality and trades. Now we are in need of a kitchen able to manage meals for 16 people with ease.

3 - Bathroom. At present the bathroom is rustic! hahaha! ;) With all the essentails, hot flowing water, a toilet and a shower 'sans curtain'! (it's a long story) The idea here is to make a wet room and re-tile to stop the moisture leaking into the floor.

4 - Last but not least, we care about the amount of water we use, we care where our vegetables come from and we want to reduce our impact on the planet! The last 200 euro we need is to help install the new eco dry toilet and shower system outside the house! This will help us minimise our water usage and help us create a great source of compost for the coming vegetable garden!

The support offered by you will help us continue to aid in the professional facilitation of retreats, workshops, day events, charity work and rehabilitaions.
