The Honeybee Home Daycare

Hi! My name is Miss Honey and I am opening a daycare this Fall! Opening in October in Eugene Oregon, will be The Honeybee Home Daycare! 

My forever passion has been working in childcare and helping educate young people of the world. The Universe and divine timing has graced me with the opportunity to open up my own in home daycare, located here in Eugene, Oregon, where I relocated to in the beginning of the pandemic. Since I started teaching in 2016, I knew I found my purpose to educate young children through mindfulness, love and the powers of nature to create a new generation of people who already have the tools to heal from a young age. I want to create this safe and loving space for children to THRIVE.

 Incorporating Reggio Emilia, Montessori, Waldorf and many other teaching philosophies, I know I can create a new kind of learning environment for many kids in need. Being a young woman of color, I also want to incorporate my culture and many cultures from around the world into our curriculum so the children can learn so much more about the world, from inside our little safe honeybee home.

 I’m asking for donations to fund this wonderful and magical little place for the entire next year. All of the donations will go towards toys, supplies, nature incorporating learning materials, books, licensing fees, daycare renovations and more. Any little bit would help children who come from all walks of life, to get the education they deserve. I appreciate and am so grateful to anyone and everyone who’s reading this.
