The Hive Community Center

The Hive is here to support us all in building better bridges between communities, and in cultivating cross-pollination between projects, people and places that may seem far apart to some, but which share a deep interconnectedness.

The Hive is about bringing some of the passion, purpose and people of the East Bay to Marin, in a space where we can tap into the wisdom of the collective and learn from each other. 

The Hive will be a place for creating connections between the parts of ourselves, between each other, and between communities. 

It will be a place where activists can come for rest and nourishment, and learn the self-care strategies and spiritual sustenance practices that will make the movement more sustainable, inside and out.

Where change makers can share their ways of engaging with the world that spiritual folks can use to become more active and empowered.

Where people with privilege can find ways to plug in and be of greatest benefit to the world, and where they can gather, discuss, learn and build their capacity to be better and more active allies to women, people of color, LGBTQ, youth and to others labeled "other" by society.

Where artists and visionaries can help us shape shift the narrative from what the world is to what is can be, and where we can all learn to be more of who we are-- more integrated, more activated, more empowered, more connected, more alive. 

Because as Howard Thurman says, "Don't ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive."

This is about catalyzing connection, bringing people together to see what greater good can emerge, and having a good time along the way! 

YOU are all invited to come join The Hive-- as a teacher, a performer, a member or as a donor. Your generosity is appreciated and will go to fund our start-up costs until we are up and running. 

It will also go towards membership! 
Every donation of $25 or more comes with a membership of the Honeybee Collective, the online version of our community. Stay tuned for a website with classes, conversations, and a directory of resources linking people doing this integrative work all over the world. 

Donations of $100 will get you a membership for three months, with perks that include a few free classes and co-working, and discounts on events. 
Donations of $250 or more will get you an unlimited membership for three months, including a free pass to co-working, classes and events. 
Donations of $500 or more come with the same perks, plus a free session of your choice with a Hive practitioner (bodywork, business coaching, etc) 
Donations of $1000 or more get you all of the above, times two!

We have a deadline of March 31st to raise $5000 to secure our lease, and we are aiming for $5000 more to cover costs.
