The Hill District Fire Victims
Donation protected
On Saturday, March 3rd, a three alarm fire tore through a four-story apartment building in the 3300 block of Iowa Street in the Upper Hill District (Sugar Top), displacing six families. The 11 adults and 17 children were able to escape the building unharmed, but they lost everything. This page was started to raise funds to assist those six families in any way possible that would allow them to begin to return to some sort of normalcy, and to rebuild their lives.
Please donate whatever you can and as soon as you can. The children affected will need school clothing and supplies immediately.
Grace Memorial Presbyterian Church in the Hill District will also be accepting donations of clothing, bedding, shoes, school supplies , etc. The children affected will need school clothing and supplies immediately.
