Hero Center is honored to be a resource to Veteran families in Stoughton, WI and the surrounding areas. Our desire is to offer support, a comfortable, safe and secure home that specializes in individualized personal care where our Heroes can continue their own personal story.
Hero Center is a small Veteran community based residential facility (CBRF) dedicated to promoting individual independence while providing quality caring assistance for Heroes. Our Heroes will enjoy a home-like community setting and a living environment that is the least restrictive of each Hero’s freedom; and that care and services a Hero needs are provided in a manner that protects the rights and dignity of the Hero. Where each Hero moves toward functional independence in daily living or to maintain independent functioning to the highest possible extent.
This fundraiser is to help cover the costs of remodeling, provide continuous financial support and provide some special touches of home for our Heroes.
Hero Center programs and services are tailored to the unique needs of each of our Heroes. Hero Center's entire team will provide loving and dependable care in a home like, warm and comfortable setting. We’re dedicated to providing compassionate and personalized attention to our Heroes and their families.
Your financial gifts will enable us to provide our Heroes with a safe and comfortable living environment
while providing personalized attention to their needs. This will also help cover the costs and remodeling expenses of their homes. You can help make this happen, with your financial gift to Hero Center via a tax deductible donation to our fiscal agent Today Not Tomorrow Inc

Hero Center offers home-like gathering spaces, an outdoor courtyard with acres of country green space, that will allow us to enhance our indoor and outdoor gathering spaces with the following:

These remodeling expenses alone, totaled over $100k.
Heroes can also choose to move in with their favorite furniture, personal items and decorative pieces to make their suite personalized and comfortable.

- Vinyl Non-Slip Flooring with a Moisture Barrier
- Paint and Wall Coverings
- Bathroom Fixtures
- New Furnaces
- In Room Air Conditioning Units
- Washer and Dryer
- A Completely Remodeled Kitchen
- First-Aid Center with an AED Unit
- Fire Alarm System
- Security Locked Doors
These remodeling expenses alone, totaled over $100k.
