Hailynn Smith is a 14 year old freshman at Galena High School who was recently diagnosed with Lupus. Despite her condition, she doesn't let it stop her. She's very active and enjoys cheering for both Galena and 5 Star Athletics. She also likes to play basketball and wake surf.
Hailynn is now courageously fighting an uphill battle against Lupus. After reaching and sustaining an unbreakable fever of 105.2 her family sought out medical care in her home town of Reno Nevada. Unfortunately, doctors informed Hailynn and her family that her current condition cannot be properly medically addressed in Reno and urged them to seek the immediate aid of specialists at Stanford Medical Center.
The family is now at Stanford Hospital and scrambling to do whatever it takes to save Hailynn. Please consider donating to help the family with Hailynn's ever accumulating medical expenses and help her get back on her feet to step outside to do what she loves.
