The Hazelnut Movement School Programs
Donation protected
Children and adults alike walk away from our programs with greater compassion for themselves, their friends, and people affected by disabilities. They will leave with a rich understanding of how we are all differently and uniquely created on purpose, for a purpose.
During the 2023-2024 school year, as a movement, we gifted over 100 books, conducted 5 all-school assemblies, visited several classrooms, and directly spoke to over 2,000 kids.
After officially partnering with Luke 14 Ministries to help fulfill their mission of raising awareness about disabilities in communities, we plan to increase our reach as a movement in 2024.
Our goals for the 2024-2025 school year are:
• Gift 400 books to educators: This will provide them with the tools to start simple conversations with their students about how we are all created different and unique on purpose, for a purpose.
• Run 6 all-school assembly programs: Spreading awareness, educating, and building relationships with the communities around us.
• Conduct 6 author visits: Reaching out to local schools, after-school programs, and Sunday children’s programs.
We boldly ask that you consider supporting our program in this mission for the 2024-2025 school year as we work to change the perspective of both kids and adults—one book at a time, one program at a time.
