Dear friends and family of Heidi, Julie and the entire Fish family. Yesterday Heidi Swearingen’s dad, Greg Fish, went home to Heaven to be with the Lord after battling a brain tumor that grew back faster than doctors had expected. Greg was a loving, God fearing father of two daughters, Heidi and Julie, Grandfather of Canon Swearingen and husband to Kathy Fish. Although deep in our hearts we rejoice together that Greg is in heaven where he now has no more pain nor sorrow, this is still a sorrowful time for the Fish family and friends.
In writing this, I know that Heidi, Julie, Kathy nor the Fish family are expecting anything from anyone but in all reality, I know that this past year has been very financially taxing on the Fish family due to all the money that went towards keeping Greg as comfortable and painless as possible during the battle. All medical insurance got used up and their savings was exhausted from treatments, blood work and hospital stays etc. Anything and everything that would help heal Greg and keep him feeling the best he could.
Now, with all the expenses for a Burial, A service to honor Greg, the obituary fees and all the other costs that go along with a funeral, I am asking for prayer support and if possible any bit of financial help would be such a blessing and so appreciated. I am asking everyone because I know, especially now, it is difficult for Heidi and her family to ask for money being that Mr. Fish raised his daughters to be independent.
