The Good Deeds Continue

Continuing  the charitable deeds in loving memory of Shabnum Sadiq

Shabnum Sadiq, 39
An amazing mother of 5 (19 years and 13 year old quadruplets), loving wife, sister and daughter departed this life in April 2020 due to Covid-19. She fought for 24 days on a ventilator but sadly could not hold on any longer. May her soul rest in peace.

Shabnum was a labour party councillor, a hands on mum and loving wife. You would only have had to met her once and you would never forget her presence. She was admired and loved by everyone that knew her. She was a helping hand in various charities as it was her passion to help others during her lifetime. She was heavily involved with helping orphans, youth education, homeless and empowering women.

Her children wish to continue sadaqa jariyah (charity) in her name and will aim to support various causes.
Some of the initial charity funds will be directed towards the following:
Orphan care
Homeless food distributions
A plaque in her name as a tribute to her hard work and love for her town
Water wells in her name in much needed countries including her place of rest.
Medical supplies and education funding.

Fundraising events will be organised offline after the lockdown rules are lifted to raise funds for various projects to fulfil our dear Shabnums dreams.

Please help raise our target and  share the page with family and friends so we can continue to help those in need.

Sisters tribute:
My sweetest dearest shab. I’m going to miss you so much. There are no words to express the void that you have left in both your brothers and my life. We cradled you , we raised you, we spoilt you. We are so proud of your accomplishments. You were modest, humble, charismatic and a pure diva. May your sparkle never die. May you be awarded the highest maqam in Janet e firdous. Keep that gorgeous dimpled smile in heaven. You truly are an angel. Until we meet again. Love you beyond loving you.

Shabnum's kids quotes about their mum:
* she thought about others before herself.
* made time for others even when overworked and busy
* she was more than a mum...she was more of a friend and a child herself
* As her eldest daughter I felt more like her mum at times
* Always made everyone happy
* stronger than anyone we know
* always kept a smile on her face regardless of what may have been her troubles
* as much as she did for her children...they did alot to suprise her with flowers randomly etc as thats how they were brought up. They value everything because of her teachings.
