On Sunday, December 12, 2021, our dear Friends of over 60 years experienced a horrible house fire in their Glendale Heights home of over 35 years! Our friends, Jim & Kathy Zaino had smelled smoke to only realize that their attached 2- car garage was ablaze with their autos in it. They instantly tried to extinguish it but unfortunately it already had a stronghold! The Glendale Heights Fire Department along with many surrounding and devoted Fire Departments had worked a few hours to extinguish these flames, but not without tremendous damage to their 4-bedroom home! Fortunately, Jim and Kathy along with their son, Jared and niece Marissa were able to escape but not without a total loss on their Holiday-decorated Home. All they had were the clothes on their back, not even shoes! And fortunately, their pets; Black Lab Zeus and cats Odie and Smokey were also rescued.

We are asking dear Family, Friends and acquaintances during this Holiday Season to consider helping them out during this time of need! If you have had the good fortune to know the Gilletly-Zaino Family of 4, Jim and Kathy, daughter Jasolynn (hubby Joe Ormsby) and son Jared through the years, you would know that this has been a very close-knit generous and out-going family that has always been there for others! Unfortunately, wife Kathy has had many medical issues, Sarcoidosis and Pulmonary Fibrosis through the years and now Son-in-law Joe has just been diagnosed with a rare Lymphoma Cancer! As one can understand, they have had their hands full and that is where you can HELP!
