The gift of Hair

Sinéad O'Neill, my niece and Jason's God-daughter, hasn't cut her hair since Jason's diagnosis in 2018. She said she would donate her hair if Jason lost his, but that never completely happened.

To mark Jason's Birthday she is giving the gift of 17 inches of her beautiful hair to the Rapunzel foundation, in addition to raising vital funds for Cian's Kennels Charity.

This Charity provides kennelling facilities close to the Children’s Hospital Dublin, allowing sick children and their families to be closer to their pets during challenging times. 

Cian Neary was a 15 year old boy, a student of Mercy Secondary School Ballymahon, who lost his battle for life in September we2019. Cian, like Jason, absolutely adored animals, dogs in particular, and this charity is one particularly close to our hearts.

We are so proud of Sinéad and would be delighted if you could sponsor her hair donation. All proceeds will go to Cian's Kennels Charity.

Jason's birthday is on January 12th, and the big charity 'chop' will take place on that special day.
