The Gift of a School Bag

In Beira, Mozambique if you are poor or are an orphan, life is tough. Katrina and Isac Condesse run a ministry that helps support children by giving them a school bag and what is required at school, eg. two pencils, two exercise books, a ruler, sharpener, and eraser.

We do this as a special project for Christmas, so that children who are starting school the following year have what is needed and they feel loved, and special.

Because of the appreciation shown to us by those who have recieved a bag, this year we would love to do even more. We want to give each child and their primary care provider, a day of fun and caring. This will include a program with singing and dancing as well as lunch being provided for all.

To give one child a school bag it costs $20AUS and to add the cost of a fun day with lunch provided for one child both the bag and lunch will cost just $30AUS!

Our aim is to be able to give 100 children a school bag and support them and their primary carer with lunch, so our goal is to raise $5000AUS. 

We will greatly appreciate your generosity as without you we won't be able to help these precious children and their families. We need the funds by the end of November 2018 so that we have time to organise the event, knowing how many children we are helping. We plan to run the event on the 22nd of December.
