The Gately Bushfire Tragedy

Donation protected
Help Tamati and Jarrah get a roof over their head!

Earlier this week a terrible bushfire in Termeil destroyed the beautiful house in the forrest where Tamati and Jarrah lived with their mum and dad, Zane and Phillipa. The house was not the only thing they lost - Zane, being the clever, handy fellow he is, had been collecting and recycling all sorts of materials to build their home with... These were all taken by the fire, along with storage containers filled with their belongings.

The boys are understandably devastated and Mum and Dad are not feeling too crash hot either. Tama is in year one at Ulladulla Public and Jarrah is in Kindy.

Zane is a local builder by day, and caterer by night, he works VERY hard, and he put lots of love into building their Termeil home and now he is keen to get back on the tools and fix up a house in town for them to live in. This means the family will lose Zane’s income for a while, but he is keen to get working so Tama and Jarrah get a place to settle into as soon as possible.

Zane is the kind of bloke who always offers a helping hand to others - so let’s throw a bit of support their way! Even small amounts will help, Zane is very handy and he will be able to make any contribution go along way.

Our hearts are with them through this difficult time.
