 Help Create a Safe Playground &amp; Sports Facility for Our Children.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 <strong>This summer, something special happened...</strong>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 During the <strong>summer of 2026</strong>, we decided to try a simple experiment.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 With the <strong>support of the local community</strong>, we created a small temporary sports area next to the church in Assos. It was a modest setup—a basketball hoop, a football goal and <strong>a safe space for children to play.</strong>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 We hoped a few children might use it.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 What happened exceeded all our expectations.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 <strong>Every evening, the area came alive.</strong>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Young children practised their shooting, organised football and basketball games, and even adults joined in. Families gathered to watch, friendships were formed, and for the first time in many years there was a place where different generations could come together through sport.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 It quickly became one of the busiest and happiest places in the village.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 What started as a simple trial proved something incredibly important:
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 <strong>Assos doesn't just need better sports facilities—our community is ready for them.</strong>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 That experience inspired us to think bigger.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 <strong>Our Vision...</strong>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 We now want to create a permanent sports and recreation facility at Assos Primary School that will serve the community for decades to come.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 <strong>The new facility will include:</strong>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 <strong> A modern multi-sports court for basketball and football</strong>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 <strong> A full-size padel court</strong>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 <strong> A safe children's playground</strong>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 <strong> Seating areas for parents, grandparents and visitors</strong>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 <strong> Refurbished toilet facilities</strong>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 <strong> New electrical services and lighting</strong>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 <strong> Beautiful landscaped surroundings</strong>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 This will become far more than a school playground.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 It will be a community hub—a place where children can play safely after school, teenagers can stay active, families can spend time together, and visitors can see another side of the Assos community.
</div>
<div>

 ______________
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 <strong>Το Όραμά μας...</strong>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
