My name is Paul Allcock and I’m 52-year-old man who manages manchester Dragons F.C based in moss-side Manchester and I wanna give back to my local community who helped me in the past and kept me safe and off the streets when I was a young boy!!

I’m a volunteer who doesn’t get paid I give up my time to support others without me we don’t have a club, without support and funding we don’t have a club, isn’t it about keeping the children safe that’s big incentive!

we need any funding from £1 to £5 to help us reach a target of £250 for new balls cones bibs and equipment!

my team is very diverse we don’t discriminate and encourage anyone to join our club it’s great to come together and support each in our community regardless of your religion and faith and to respect each others back ground it’s about educating each other along the way!

we don’t get any funding or support off anyone, Also a lot of the parents are from single background so some find it hard to pay the fees we try to help out.

I do this role to educate also to keep the children safe and off the street also for the children to learn discipline manners and to respect each other also their parents siblings and anyone else but most importantly, each other!

so your role and mine the government closed all the youth clubs in the area!

where are the children suppose to go and play safe with each other. I look back with out youth workers guiding me and learning me life’s skills I mite of turned to crime! Never forget your roots and always try to give back to your community without this we can’t grow.

we play in the East manchester league at a good level against a lot of academies, we can’t compete financially against a lot of these clubs cause they have great support networks…
