The Fulcher's 1st Time Home Ownership Fund

The purpose of this campaign is to help our mother Sabrina Fulcher raise the remaining finances needed to close on her first home! We know this is an unconventional way of raising finances for a down payment on a home, so let us explain why we’re doing this:
Anyone that knows our mom, knows how much of a giver she is. She only gives, she never takes. So our goal is to help gift her with the opportunity to own a home, something that she can call her own.
Born and bred in Brooklyn, New York, our mother has dedicated her life to serving her community, 3 kids, and loved ones – all while putting God first. Constantly on the go, our mother creates time to pour into others daily at her day job, serve as a pastor at Family & Friends Christian Worship Center in Bedford-Stuyvesant, mentor survivors of domestic violence, counsel families in need, help those battling addictions, and advise young people in search of answers. We don’t know how she does it – and she never complains.
Though favor is in her corner these days, over the past few decades we’ve watched our incredible mother survive through some of the steepest challenges that include years of unsteady employment, divorce, homelessness, as well as raising us as single mother on a limited income. She’s always found a way to give, even when she had nothing to give. We’re still not sure how she did it.
We’re truly in a place of gratitude over this woman, and we’re hoping to gift her a love offering by helping her make her dream of home ownership come true. When we asked our mom why she was working so tirelessly to put herself in a position of home ownership she said, “I want to ensure a legacy not just for myself, but to pass down to my kids too.” Again, always giving…and anyone who knows her, would say the same.
Our mother is so close to purchasing the home of her dreams, and we want to help her get there faster so she can move on with accomplishing the rest of her goals in life. To date, she has been qualified for a mortgage and has saved almost $13,000 over the years towards her down payment. However, she just has $5,000 remaining in order to meet the down payment requirement. So, we’re taking a bold initiative to raise the remaining funds she needs, and help a woman out who has helped so many of us during our greatest times in need!
