I am Brian, I'm a writer and novelist these days and am gradually building a successful business as a Copywriter, I'm 71 years young. I should be retired but I'm not ready to give in yet as I see writing as something I can do and love to do for many years yet.
I lost my house due to the financial crash about 12 years ago when I was ripped off by an unscrupulous developer in Europe. I fought and fought and have about 4 lawsuits going on back to those times. I have used up any reserve capital I have and am living in a rental property. I used to travel constantly for my previous career and miss that constantly.
I plan to purchase a used Campervan, of reasonable condition that will sustain me for a minimum of 5-7 years and any accessories to be able to live off-grid and on-line.
I intend to attempt to get sponsorship for a journey starting at St.Malo in France and to follow the coastline around the whole of Europe. I aim to keep getting copywriting work and to research for my novels.
I am offering to write advertising and marketing content and copy for any company or people who sponsor this purchase and journey. I work remotely now and the digital world will grow for those of us able to do so.
I will happily listen to any creative way to fund myself. I have published 8 novels and have 2 in the pipeline now. One of my novels needs research which involves ancient stones and menhirs that are spread along the Brittany coast.
I will give away free to anyone who donates signed paperbacks of my novels or downloads as you wish.
I have other new-age skills in the forms of Yoga, meditation and energy healing. I play the blues harmonica and have sung in bands across Asia during my times overseas. All of these will be used on my travels to either network or assist my journey.
I intend to visit local dignitaries, mayors etc. and seek to help their local charities.
I wish to pay back for the nastiness of the Brexit vote. I was a big fan of Britain being in Europe and my support of the remain camp has led to me being called traitor, and much worse. I was told to leave the UK if I loved Europe so much and this is what I am now attempting to do. I am very concerned about the way our politics are still heading and don't wish to be in the UK when those nationalists and neo-fascists implement their policies. I want to leave the negativity and payback to those with a more positive outlook and what better way is there than to have the sea at my side wherever I go.
If any donor on here wishes me to use my considerable marketing skills to write for their website or any long direct response literature. Even scripts for their video training I will assist them in return.
I will also be pitching constantly my books to movie producers, film companies and other agents involved and any success that I get from that direction I will pay back.
I will be very grateful to anyone who wishes to assist this adventure of my later years. I will publicise anyone who helps. There are many ways that I can do that, even paint their names on the van.
